Agent Y - Escape Room games are an adventure for the whole team, whose members are immersed in a story to master together in 60min exciting puzzles, tricky tasks and challenges to complete their mission. It's all about teamwork and experiencing an unknown world. The only tool you need to play the game is your own logic and quick perception, intuition and team spirit.

You have 60 minutes to complete your mission, maybe you can do it faster 🙂 Please arrive about 15 minutes early so we can prepare for the game in peace. After the game you will of course have some time to debrief with our team and take some nice souvenir pictures.

Absolutely not! Our missions are exciting and thrilling, but no one, especially our youngest agents should get scared. However, it is important to adhere to our age recommendations (from 8 years old for the "Treasure of the Maya" and from 11-12 years old for "the Red Star"), as younger children can become a bit unsettled in an unusual environment.

No, the tasks are solvable for everyone with skill, logic and good teamwork. Strength is NOT needed in any case. Previous knowledge of the Maya is also not a prerequisite to complete the mission 😉

The Escape Room is located on the 1st floor, but the building has an elevator. Our rooms are not very big but from experience it is possible that one player per team can play with wheelchair. It is best to contact us beforehand (either by phone or with a note when booking) so that we are prepared accordingly.

Since Escape Rooms are a team game, you should come at least in pairs. For safety reasons, our rooms are limited to 6 adults (ages 14+) or 8 teens. It's more fun in smaller groups anyway, because everyone can actively participate 🙂 .

We are a child-friendly Escape Room. Our rooms "the treasure of the Maya" and "the red star" can be played from 8 years and 11-12 years respectively. Below this age, children find it difficult to understand the whole story or may be unsettled in some situations.

For groups of children up to 11 years old, the game leader comes in the room with them so that he/she can support the players more easily.

No, of course not. Completing the mission is paramount, but you can leave our rooms at any time. Before the game, our game leaders will go through the security measures with you (just like on the plane before departure) and accompany you with camera and microphones during the game.

The game does not really require languages skills, rather logic and teamwork. However, we have translated the game in English and French as well. If you are interested, please let us know upon booking so we can prepare accordingly.

Unfortunately, we will then have to shorten your playing time accordingly so that the following groups do not have to wait because of this. Therefore, please pay attention to punctuality so that you can enjoy the experience.

For our planning we ask you to book at least 24 hours in advance. If you decide to play on short notice, just give us a call. We will try to be as flexible as possible, but we can't guarantee that it will work out.

Yes, if you contact us at least 24 hours before by email (info[at]agent-y.de). Please indicate your booking number or date/time. After that no change/cancellation is possible.

The best time is when you show up 15 minutes before the scheduled start (e.g. at 17:45 for a 18:00 booking). Then we have enough time to prepare for the mission in peace.

It is not necessary to come much earlier, as we may still be cleaning up and will not be able to take care of you right away 🙂
